THE SB-1000 IS A HIGH OUTPUT 2 X 18" SUBWOOFER WITH THE 18" WOOFERS SLANTED INWARD TO MAXIMIZE OUTPUT AND REDUCE FRONTAL AREA. POWER HANDLING IS 2000 WATTS AES. SB-1000'S ARE RATED TO COMFORTABLY HANDLE SPL LEVELS OF 132 DB LONG TERM WITH PEAKS OF 138DB AND IS ONE SLAMMING SUB!!!
CABINETS HAVE TUNG/GROOVE CHANNELS ON THE THEIR TOP/BOTTOM THAT LOCK THEM TOGTHER WHEN STACKING. EACH CABINET IS EQUIPMENT WITH CASTERS AND ARE DESIGNED TO WHEEL IN MUCH LIKE A HAND-TRUCK...JUST TILT BACK AND GO.

COMMENTS: ONE OF THESE WERE PURCHASED NEW THE OTHER WAS B-STOCK. THE B-STOCK CABINET NEEDS A DRIVER FOR ONE OF THE 18'S. ONCE IT WENT, WE CUT IT FROM THE PA TO MAKE SURE WE DIDNT HURT THE OTHER SPEAKER. FROM WHAT MY SOUND MAN TOLD ME, IT IS ABOUT A $150 JOB TO FIX.
