IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THIS UNIT YOU KNOW IT IS A 16 TRACK, 1/2" TAPE RECORDER.
IT COMES WITH DOLBY S.
IT LIVED IN A SMOKE FREE STUDIO. IF YOU LOVE ANALOG AND DON'T WANT TO SPEND MUCH MONEY THIS IS THE DECK FOR YOU. TRACK YOUR ANALOG NEEDS AND DUMP IT INTO YOUR FAVORITE DAW! BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.
EXTRAS: THE RECORDER COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL USERS MANUAL AS WELL AS A FULL TECHNICAL/SERVICE MANUAL - VERY HANDY!
IT ALSO COMES WITH THE EXTENSION CABLE FOR THE AUTO-LOCATOR. THE CABLE IS ABOUT 15' LONG.

HISTORY: IT WAS USED IN A SMOKE FREE, PRO STUDIO.

IT WAS JUST TURNED ON 10/22/07 FOR CLASSROOM DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES. IT SEEMED TO RUN WELL.
COMMENTS: BECAUSE IT HASN'T BEEN USED IN SEVERAL YEARS AND BECAUSE IT WILL BE SHIPPED - I IMAGINE IT MIGHT NEED SOME NORMAL ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE. BIAS, AZIMUTH, ETC. YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DO THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO OWN A TAPE BASED MULTI-TRACK ANYWAY.
