FEATURES: INDUSTRY STANDARD REEL TO REEL.
EXTRAS: FACTORY CASTER BASE.
MODIFICATIONS: NO MODIFICATIONS, FACTORY CONDITION.
HISTORY: UNIT WAS USED SOLELY IN THE CONTROL ROOM OF A PERFORMING ARTS VENUE.
COMMENTS: UNIT WORKED PERFECTLY FOR YEARS BUT HAS NOT BEEN USED SINCE 1999. WHEN RECENTLY TESTED THE UNIT POWERS ON, FF AND RR BUT WILL NOT LOAD TAPE TO PLAY OR RECORD. POSSIBLY DRY CAPACITORS IN POWER SUPPLY.
IT IS 1/4" TAPE AND IS A 2-TRACK MACHINE.
IT WILL FAST FORWARD AND REWIND BUT WHEN "PLAY" IS PRESSED THE MACHINE WILL NOT "LOAD" THE TAPE, MEANING IT WILL NOT PUSH THE TAPE CARRIAGE AGAINST THE
TIME CODE: THE UNIT HAS A TIME CODE INDICATOR ON THE CONTROL PANEL. I PERSONALLY HAVE NEVER USED THIS UNIT BUT I AM ASSUMING THAT IF IT HAS A TIME CODE INDICATOR THEN IT HAS TIME CODE INSTALLED.
TAPE SPEEDS:
15IPS, 7.5IPS, HIGH SPEED COPY 30IPS.
