48 TRACKS 24 BIT/96KHZ HARD DISK BROADCAST WAV AUDIO RECORDER WITH SYNC (LTC/MTC) AND EXTERNAL CONTROL (P2/RS422). CAN BE USED STAND-ALONE AS PLAYBACK/RECORDER, OR WITH KEYBOARD/MONITOR TO ACCESS THE INCLUDED GUI RUNNING A EMBEDDED WINDOWS SYSTEM. WITH THE GUI YOU ARE ABLE TO CONTROL THE INTERNAL DIGITAL MIXER WITH DSP EQ AND COMPRESSION, PLUS COMPATIBILITY FOR VST PLUGINS (NOT INCLUDED). PLAYBACK HAS "THEATER MODE" FOR AUTOMATIC CUE PLAYBACK BY TRIGGER OR CHASE FUNCTION (LTC/MTC/MMC/RS422)

THIS UNIT COMES EQUIPED WITH 48 TASCAM TDIF DIGITAL I/O, PLUS THE OPTIONAL 24 I/O ANALOG CARD. ADAT CARD CAN BE SUBSTITUTED, AND WE HAVE ADDITIONAL CARDS IF NEEDED (EXTRA COST)

MODIFICATIONS:
THE UNIT WAS ORIGINALLY SOLD WITH A DVD+RW, BUT OUR UNITS WERE MODIFIED TO REPLACE THE OPTICAL DRIVE WITH A SATA DRIVE SLOT. RECORDING AND PLAYBACK CAN BE DONE FROM THE SLOT DRIVE. THE ONLY THING IS A NEW PROJECT CANNOT BE CREATED DIRECTLY TO THE SLOT DRIVE; IT NEEDS TO BE CREATED TO THE INTERNAL DRIVE, AND THEN IT CAN BE COPIED TO THE SLOT DRIVE FOR RECORDING (HARDWARE LIMITATION).
IN JULY 2023, THE INTERNAL COIN BATTERY (DEAD) WAS REPLACED
